Mocktails to try

Alcohol and me.. We just don’t get along so great. I can enjoy a nice cool beer at the beach, but it can only be one if I don’t want to be rescued by a life guard after.. I like the idea of a cocktail, but I never really liked the taste of the alcohol that’s inside. These options for mocktails are not only good for when you don’t want to have a alcoholic drink during a party, but these are also pretty good for a hot summers day instead of drinking just plain old water.

Rosemary and blueberry drink:

  • 7-8 blueberries
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 1 spoon of honey
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • sparkling water
  • ice
  1. Put blueberries, rosemary and honey on the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add the lemon juice and ice. Shake strongly together.
  3. Strain the juice and pour it in a glass.
  4. Add some more ice cubes and top it off with sparkling water.

Minty Mojito

  • 4 fresh mint leaves
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon of honey/sugar
  • ice
  • sparkling water
  1. In a tall glass add the mint leaves with the honey and lime juice.
  2. Add some ice, and top it off with sparkling water.

They’re very fast and easy to make, and yes.. I’m already looking forward to summer. Who’s with me!? Enjoy your mocktails!
