Guerlain Aqua Allegoria review

My question was when I first smelled this perfume: “Why haven’t I found this one earlier?”. Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic was launched in 2007, and the nose behind this fragrance is Marie Salamagne.

Every new perfume I purchase, I like to look up on the internet. It became a little game if I can smell all of the fragrance notes inside. (Nope, not yet). I definitely have a thing with scents, and everywhere I go I am always talking about the different things I smell and what they remind me of. Good and bad.

Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic  is listed as a women’s fragrance, but I would say that it could be used by both women and men. It has a very fresh, citrus scent with top notes of clementine, orange blossom, ivy, green tea and bitter orange. The middle notes are peony, chamomile, mandarin orange and basil. The base notes are sandalwood and amber, and this is what you can smell at the end of a few hours wearing this perfume. It kind of changes from a very fresh scent to a lovely woody scent.

This one is definitely added to the growing list of perfumes I really like. Let me know what is your favorite perfume at the moment?
